Story Time in the Park

Story Time in the Park is a program committed to the development of family literacy while providing a safe, barrier free and fun environment for the families in the Fraser Cascade region.

Each week during the summer months, families gather at the park to listen to a children's story read by a community member. Each family is given a copy of the book of the week to follow along with and then take home at the end of the event. There are activities, crafts and entertainment to compliment the story. A free lunch is provided.

Story Time in the Park takes place in Agassiz, Harrison, Hope and Boston Bar during July and August at 11:00 am. For more information, select the community nearest you on the home page map.
